We must dress for success!!!

Hiiiii Friends.........
Every management student would have thought of this question at least once in their minds.... Now all of you may be excited to know that question .... Nothing other than 'Professional Dressing'. Haven't you thought of this before? Why do we have to follow a professional way of dressing? What is the importance of this type of dressing? We should be wearing whatever we are comfortable with , isn't it?
Judging a book by its cover may not be right But it is human nature and we all do it. We all seen that someone being interviewed on television dressed professionally. For example one of the chief economist of a regional business association and the other a newspaper journalist who reports on international business. The chief economist would be dressed in a business suit and her hair neatly combed, it will surely attract our attention to that programmes.
The workplace that has a standard dress code on business attire feels more professional and looks more professional. When we put on our work clothing the mind transforms from the home mode or fun mode , so i have to get work done and work hard mode . The non-dress code workplace may have an atmosphere of laziness, lack of interest . Be comfortable might seem nice but in the end it harms the work place because there may be some ' I don't care' attitude. Be careful to avoid business attire that makes you appear sloppy , irresponsible or not serious about our job.
How we dress says a lot about our personality . We must dress for success and it also helps in creating unity among colleagues.
The Queen of England is reported to have told Prince Charles "Dress keeps wonder outward sign from which people can judge the inward state of mind. One they can see, the other cannot" Clearly, she was saying what many people are reluctant to accept, than people judge us by the way we dress in all situations, business, and social , our outward appearance sends a message.
