Is III important?

Hey friends,
III, as we all know, is always conducted on Fridays in our campus.It is mostly the interaction between industrial personalities and our students.These classes give us practical glimpse of the corporate world. But we find it most boring and kind of sleeping hours. Then why our college is spending money in bringing these people? Aren't we wasting their as well as our money in sleeping and talking to each other? Its the high time that our Management should modify rules and regulations so that students actively participate in III sessions. There should be some kind of assignments and participation marks which should be added to the CGPA, so that they will pay more attention and become more interactive in the class.
On the contrary, some of the guests who are coming to the III are from non-business, for example the traffic police and MLA, they gave speeches on traffic rules and panchayats, which are not useful for our career.So Management should also take some steps to bring in some of the corporate personalities so that students also get motivated and inspired by them.
Now I am leaving the flour for discussion... whether you want III or not and you can also give some suggestions to improve the sessions of III.
