Infosys foundation is a public charitable trust founded in 1996.Sudha murthy,Ms Sudha gopalakrishnan and Mr NS ragavan are the trustees of this foundation.The foundation got the prestigious ET corparate citizens award.The main activities of Infosys foundation are
1) Health care
a) Conducting rehabilitation camp at tribal areas ,drought hit areas,etc
b) Construction of hospitals
c) Upgrading the hospitals with latest equipments
2) Social rehabilitation and rural upliftment
a) Construction of orphanages
b) Construction of common halls at orphanages,old age home etc
c) Rehabilitation of devadasis in karnataka
d) Rehabilatation of children on platform, street and slums
e) Donation of passenger vans to rehabilitation centers
3) Learning and education
a) Setting up libraries for every rural kannada medium school.
b) Donating for the constrution of additional classrooms
c) Construction of science laborataries
d) Assisting the promising students of economicaly weaker sections by means of scholarships or contributing tp pay their annual fees.
4) Art
a) Promotion of deprived art culture by organising stage shows.
b) Donating for such organisation whhich promotes such talents.
