Whether competition is good or bad?
According to me it all depends on one's own inner self. How you see the competition ,how you accept competition, how you perform. Every one is eager to get, achieve and win over others. But what we fail to understand is that,in such situations we are not utilising our power and energy in an useful way. While competing with each other,we fail to learn others and at the same time we grow hatred which will lead to the break up of reationships. In life, man fails to recognise this major and most important fact that nothing is permanent and only because of relationships and bonding, all are existing here. Once that bondage is broken, Earth wont be a good place to live upon.
Children are trained to be competitive from thier childhood itself. But what exactly we should do is to make, train them to evolve themselves and encourage them to create new things. "COMPETITION BRINGS OUT THE BEST IN PRODUCTS AND WORST IN PEOPLE".
So do your work with your whole heart and thats the key to success, not the COMPETITION.
Our March to a better world
Technical training given to women by projects like Kudumbashree in Kerala has empowered a lot of women by synergy of its potential. Schemes like NREGA with its power reforms, water harvesting and education particularly computer has helped the rural population. It also provides work and land to child widows in Rajasthan. Internet connectivity and new channels of communication give them access to data on new varieties of crops, innovative farming, machinery, weather forecasts etc. Better roads facilitate faster transport of products to markets, while knowledge of pricing help farmers to get reasonable revenue from their products without depending on intermediaries. .India grows, through its villagers and agriculture like vision of our Father of the Nation.
The drip irrigation systems now popularized help the draught areas like Telengana , where 70% of the national requirements of the red jowar seeds are produced.
IS BT BRINJAL A THREAT OR NOT....
Envy
This piece of article does not describe the definition of envy or about the book Envy: the seven deadly sins written by Joseph Epstein. But this article tells about the two persons whom I envy upon. They are not big professionals or role models (at present; but maybe in future). These two persons are our classmates, Ginu and Sukumar. I envy upon them due to their one special quality which is so striking to me, their voice.
Ginu is gifted with a lovely voice – What you call, a mesmerising voice- something like that. As she is my roommate, I can hear her humming Hindi songs all the time. When she sings, i get completely immersed in the song. I don’t know whether it is the magic of the music or her voice. Now with Sukumar, who has a dynamic voice, so powerful and demanding. He captures the audience attention by his strong voice. It is impossible to divert your attention during his speech. Their voice makes me envy but I always like to hear their superb voices.
FUTURE IN OUR HANDS
Today India is the 9th largest automobile manufacturer in the whole world. Annually more than 2.3 million vehicles are being produced. Gone are the days when Indians used to import foreign vehicles like Mercedes, BMW, Toyota paying heavy import duties of 200 percent. Things have changed now. Today India is not importing vehicles but also exporting it. India is Asia’s 4th largest vehicle manufacturer. Not only that India is one of the leading manufacturers of small vehicles in the whole world.
In mid 1980s you could only see Maruti 800s, Ambassaders, Premier Padminis, Fiats on Indian roads. But after the 1991 liberalization policy reform Indian automobile industry has changed tremendously.
Now you can see big automobile giants like Honda, General Motors, Toyota, Mercedes, BMW, Volkswagen have their presence on Indian roads. There is a craze for big luxurious cars. The per-capaita buying capacity of Indians has also gone high. Today even the upper middle class families are having more than 2 vehicles.
Now the major concern for all of us is vehicular pollution. Vehicles pollute the environment and are adding to the green house effect by emitting carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and other carbon particles. Statistics shows that India is the 4th largest carbon dioxide emitter in the whole world. Also some the cities like Delhi are one of top 5 most polluted (air pollution) cities. Another big concern for us is that India is one of the leading importers of petroleum especially diesel, petrol and paying a huge price for it. Burning of these petroleum products in combustion engines is adding to air pollution.
Being educated and potential buyers or users of automobiles of tomorrow, it’s time for us to decide on alternatives for petroleum. We can use the latest technologies and innovation in the automobile industry like electric powered vehicles like Reva, Tesla, eSpark, hybrid vehicles like Mercedes bluetech, Honda hybrid, Prius . Get existing vehicles fitted with CNG, LPG kits as they improve the mileage and less polluting, stick to latest Bharat 4 emissions norms. Create awareness among people to use the transport system more effectively, initiate car polling facilities. It’s better to use small cars as they always give better mileage and burn less fuels. In USA (largest automobile manufacturer) ,people are abandoning big vehicles like SUVs for small vehicles. But in India the situation is completely opposite i.e. there is demand for big vehicles.
“The future is in our hands.Do it now.Create Awareness”.
INDIAN HOCKEY VS. INDIAN CRICKET
I just happened to read about the pathetic situation faced by an Indian game in The Week magazine last week. India is a place where we spend a lot of money for sports activities but still many of the games are not getting any importance. Cricket is the only game which gets importance more than it requires. Hereby this article, I just want to share my opinion about the difference in treatment given to Indian hockey players and cricket players. All sports have to get equal considerations. But as I said earlier, the situation in India is very different. While cricket players get chief position, the hockey players get only step-motherly treatment. The hockey players are making hue and cry over the treatment given to the national game. I am fully with the Indian hockey team. This is not because of I like that game or not but because of the truth behind it. Nobody gave a damn when hockey India won the Asia cup but on this when the twenty 20 cup win, people are going mad after it. Whose fault is this? Government or Public?
The current problem which created the hockey loving fans is that, hockey players didn’t attend the training for world cup, because they were not paid. This is really ridiculous to say that the players who are playing for the country do not get even the salary. Food at national campus has always been abysmal, despite the sports ministry spending Rs.480 per day on every player. Many players spend from their on pocket while cricketers get high luxury food, accommodation and traveling facilities.
When considering the promotional activities given to both the games, there are lots of differences. As I mentioned above, when hockey India won the Asia cup, they are not given any incentives monetary or non monetary. Suppose the Indian cricket team won a test at Australia or any other country, we will be wondering…wow what the prizes they are getting are. They will get big flats, luxury cars, and other very precious prizes. These are not the problem of government or sports federations; the media has also a vital role in promoting and de-prompting the games. Sachin, Dhoni, Harbajan we are proud to hear these names or even small children know who they are...but anyone asks what is hockey, how many players make a hockey team, who are leading hockey players etc...More than 90% will have no answer. Even the question is asked to me too has the same situation because I am among the 90%. This is because of the difference in the treatment provided to both games by media. Thus the question arising in front of us is “Is Indian hockey dying?”

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSEBILITY
Organizations like individuals depend for their survival, sustenance and growth on the support and goodwill of the communities of which they are an integral part, and must pay back this generosity in every way they can.Corporate Social Responsebility need to minimize risk and to pro-actively address long-term social, economic and environmental costs and concerns. Therefore, being socially responsible is not an occasional act of charity or that one-time token financial contribution to the local school, hospital or environmental NGO.It is an ongoing year-round commitment, which should be integrated into the very core of our business objectives and strategy. I would like to start a school or fund some poor students who have the capability to understand but do not have the opportunity of doing so.Education is one of the basic things that we can provide to any person because it is the only thing that one cant take away.It stays with you and grows with you.It can help any bright student to stand on his/her own legs and take on the world. We all are going to be future corporate citizens and we should do our bit for the society.
A Virtue
Everyone wants to live a life full of happiness but actually no one knows what happiness is, instead of being happy with what we have we always run to pursue happiness.
What is happiness? The answer is so simple but we ourself make this question unanswerable . Happiness is virtue of our mind where we have full control over our thoughts in other words master of ourselves, once a person acheives this state then he is at the level of self-actualisation.
Most of us do comparision to know whether we are happy or not we compare because we dont know whether we are happy, and this can be done in two ways first to compare with one who is possesing more than you i.e. a rich person secondly compare with a person who has nothing with him i.e. poor person. In first case we will not find happiness but in second the scenario will be different but this is not the correct way to know that you are happy or not its a simple question to us and the answer is there with us only.
Now my question to all who read this blog is that what is happiness? Still if you can't find an answer then just ask yourself that what is the thing that you dont have in your life, there are many small things which makes us happy but in search of big things we just lose the small things also .
People who want happiness in life should have self-actualisation and should be satisfied with what they have.
INDIA AS A NEXT GLOBAL MANUFACTURING HUB
There are lot of advantages for INDIA as a next global manufacturing hub that are , BRAZIL is uncomfortable with forex inflows.its reluctance was evident in the imposition of a 2% transaction tax on capital flows.RUSSIA is a basket case and unless oil recovers to stunning heights, internal demand is unlikely to resurface any time soon, so it has only very little potential to attract firms to set up shop. Now CHINA is not considered as trusted partner;investors have learnt that China makes it easy to get in but difficult to operate, lack of protection of hard earned IPR is a major issue in china. In contrast INDIA has both a large internal market as well as the sopisticatiion and expertise to deal with DDD industries.Competition is organised and restricted to a few players in most industries.Funds are freely available .Hence ,profitable growth looks possible for any foreign investor to INDIA.
Within the next two year INDIA should witness growth in demand and hence capacity in manufacturing.India will have to devolop contract manufacturing skills within two or three years. It will help the growth of manufacturing sectors of automobiles and other sectors. Now India is concentrating more on infrastructure and devoloping new skill and technological sets. labourers with less wages are also freely available in India. Thats all are the reason all global firms are interested to build a manufacturing set up in India. INDIAN government welcomes FDI with less regulations.Like this the scenario is going INDIA would become the next global manufacturing hub.
